+ Fire Escapes

The company’s standard design of fire escape is fabricated from flat mild steel sections with mild steel durbar treads and risers. Balustrading is constructed of mild steel sections. This basic design offers an economic means of meeting the requirements of the Fire Precautions Act 1971.

However, the company will undertake the fabrication of fire escapes to any specification, provided they are in accordance with the Fire Precautions Act and with Building Regulations. In this connection, the company's design staff will work in co-operation with the local Fire Prevention Officers.
