We are always eager to welcome new players to our group. We have cultivated a spirit of fun and friendship within the band that is hard to beat.

The Washington Scottish is a competitive Grade III pipe band. We are constantly striving for excellence and expect the most from our players in the way of dedication, professionalism and practice. All of this pays off when the band sounds great.

Support the band

The Washington Scottish has big plans in the works.

We have a two year plan to get to the World Pipe Band Championship in Glasgow Scotland and you can help us on our way!

It's going to take a significant amount of money to make the trip to Scotland. Airfare, hotel, bus rental, registration fees, the list goes on. Other expenses that are not included in the trip total are new uniforms, instruments, equipment, etc.

In the near future the band will be exploring several fundraising options including the following.

Many, many paid performances
Merchandise sales: T-shirts, hats, etc.
Recording and selling a CD of our music
Seeking corporate sponsorships
Seeking private donations
Producing a Washington Scottish concert
