Where To Stay
From Seattle: (1)
Drive north on I-5 and take Exit 189, Mukilteo SR 527. This
becomes the Boeing Freeway SR 526 and takes you past
Boeing-Paine Field. (2) Turn right onto 84th
Street SW. Signs point to the ferry. Turn right at the
bottom of the hill onto the Mukilteo Speedway SR 525. Take
the Mukilteo ferry to Clinton (1/2 hour departures with 20
minute crossing). Travel SR 525 from the Clinton Ferry dock
2.6 miles to Langley Road. Turn right onto Langley Road and
travel 3.0 miles where it becomes Camano Ave. You will see
the Fairgrounds and Langley Middle School on your left.
From Everett:
(1) Drive south on I-5, taking Exit 189 to the Boeing
Freeway SR 526. Follow the directions from (2) above.
From Mt. Vernon and points north via Oak
Harbor: Take I-5 to
Exit 230 westbound following directions to SR 20 via the
Avon Cutoff until you reach the Oak Harbor turn-off to the
left. Turn south onto Hwy 20 over the Deception Pass Bridge
and through Oak Harbor. Turn right onto Pioneer Street which
keeps you on Hwy 20 (approx 37 miles). Hwy 20 becomes SR
525. Proceed until you reach Maxwelton Road (approx 18.2
miles). Turn left onto Maxwelton Road, traveling
approximately 2.6 miles until it becomes Camano Avenue. You
will see the Fairgrounds and Langley Middle School on your
left.
From the Olympic Peninsula:
Take the Port Townsend-Keystone Ferry. Upon departing the
ferry, travel SR-20 to SR 525 (3.4 miles). Turn right
(south) onto SR-525, following it until you reach Maxwelton
Road (18.2 miles). Turn left onto Maxwelton Road and proceed
for 2.6 miles until you see the Fairgrounds and Langley
Middle School on your left.
NOTE: IF TRAVELING VIA THE MUKILTEO-CLINTON FERRY EXPECT
LONG WAITS (90 MINUTES TO 2 HOURS AND MORE) ON FRIDAY
EVENING OR SATURDAY MORNING.
BUS SERVICE:
IF YOU’D LIKE TO SAVE TIME AND MONEY LEAVE YOUR CAR ON THE
MUKILTEO SIDE AT THE LIGHTHOUSE PARK AND WALK ONTO THE
FERRY. THE ISLAND COUNTY BUS WILL BE RUNNING ON SATURDAY
WITH DEPARTURES ON THE HOUR FROM THE CLINTON FERRY DOCK WITH
STOPS IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL. CHECK THE SCHEDULE FOR THE
LAST DEPARTURE FROM THE SCHOOL TO THE FERRY OR MAKE
ARRANGEMENTS TO CARPOOL BACK. AS OF THIS POSTING THE LAST
PICK-UP AT THE SCHOOL WILL BE AT 6PM
